CHYE making an impact Meet Golda Reichman.

Golda is a founder of The StreetLite, a Crown Heights boutique that specializes in selling modest athletic apparel.

This is her CHYE Story:

I have always had a love for fitness, from the time I joined the gym as a teenager. After I got married, I became certified by the IFPA as a pre/post natal personal trainer and fitness coach, working with women in Crown Heights.

As someone who spends hours at a time exercising, I am always on the lookout for fitness apparel that is both modest and beautiful. I need clothes that can transition easily from workout wear to social wear as I go about the day. Realizing the common need for such clothes, I decided to open a boutique here in Crown Heights that specializes in selling "athleisure" clothes.

We were fortunate to sign with the top designers who have worked with us to find just the right mix of quality athletic clothes, athletic socks and fitness gear. Our store will feature trained fitness professionals able to give customers a chance to discuss their fitness goals and make informed purchases.

Many of the specialized fitness products we plan to carry are the newest on the market and we will be the first to sell them in New York. Our boutique has been carefully designed, allowing us to carry both men's and women's fitness apparel.

When we first had the idea to open our business we were advised to meet with CHYE, as our first step. We were so impressed with all of the help they offered. We met with Mr. Yehuda Berg. On our first meeting gave us the assurance that CHYE would be right there offering support, guidance, financial advice and valuable introductions. The team of people they initially set us up with has led to us meeting and working with others whom have become an integral part of our business.
